its necessary as you can see
to eliminate the aged, covered in mold,

Like wounded ships limping in
covered in sails that are torn
their armor has failed though made of tin
the hull can be emptied and reborn,

Germs like lions, pick off the ancient
devouring leaving nothing left
consuming at their convenience
leaving hungry stomachs bereft,

Death is scraping dishes clean
be gone with leftovers moldy and mean!
