ok, first: title explination: ashes to ashes because for one kurt is dead (if no one knew that) and for two, the edges are burned, because ashes represent death. yes i did burn it myself, lol, and i ripped the edges myself too. used a utility knife to cut the edges so they were straight. ne way, the reason i did the border was because the person who wanted me to draw him, wanted a nice black border, his name, and her favorite quote by him
also because the print is like that, and DA wont let u make prints with such an elaborate border if the deviation doesnt look the same
now fun stuff, lol. this was a really fun picture to work with. i loved it. and its a very good picture of kurt cobain if u wanna see the ref pic, here it is: [link]
