this is from a project weve been doing all year. the teacher assigned us an imaginary land, and throughout the year we had to illustrate it. my land was the land of cocaigne, where the lady of the lake lives. along with hundreds of strange half animal half human creatures.
i didnt want to do the normal anthro, so i tried for creepy/beautiful and used very strange animals.
i came up with the idea that there were two seperate forests in cocaigne, the upper ring of forest, where the beautiful animals live, and the lower/dead ring, where all the scary animals live.

peacockman is from the upper ring, and he decided to visit the lowly animals of the lower ring. naturally they are quite surprised by this.

in the foreground id bubbleye fishman, to the right of peacockman is molerat man, and the one hiding behind the tree is chinchillaman XD

teacher suggested a border, i went for art nouveau type of thing.

theres details of peacockman int he deviation before this btw. which i recommend because peacockman alone took me at least 10-15 hours.
