okay, so technical stuff first:
i burned out his eye with a lighter, cut up the background then burned that. i burned another piece of paper then put that behind the first so i could use the burn marks and an eraser to shade his iris. (practiced burning stuff for an hour, lol)
the rest is the usual; lead pencil and woodless pencils
now to the real description.
you know, i only know of a few people that actually commented on the drawing rather than the subject. even my own mom, who's usually very supportive of my work, came in and said "you drew mailyn manson? ew, why?"

i have to say, he is the MOST interesting subject i've ever drawn, and possibly the most fun. i might draw him again, cuz i love his new look, teehee.
i had a lot of fun with this, did a lot of research on him just to get something unique to him into the drawing, so this is the most ive ever workd on a portrait before, hope you guys like it!
