okay, im so tired of people reporting others wrongfully for breaking deviation poilicy when they did nothing wrong. if you're going to report someone, make sure you're right in doing it before you do it. one of my best friends was kicked off of da because of someone doing that, and it was of no fault of her own. personally, i wish DA had something they could do about it, but unfortuneately, there is nothing i know of that they can do. now, i dont want it to happen to someone as awesome as silentautumnrain. this is the picture she painted for me on the left, on the right is the original photo. there are a lot of very small differences here, but very visible. some things that cannot be done by manipulating the existing photo. including and most prominantly, the profile of the face. the placement of the hair, the placement of the eyebrow, the eyelashes, the index finger...there are a lot of things if i were to be tediously critical of it. none of these things take away from this painting at all, but they are there, and they are a testament to the fact that THIS IS NOT A PHOTOMANIPULATION, IT IS A PAINTING, GET OVER IT.
