er...i got bored, and this was the result. this is only a small section of the entire drawing. hes a new character of mine, the result of listening to golden age of grotesque cd over and over again, lol. everytime i listen to it, i get a picture of this guy in my head. kinda wierd. but ne way, this was originally inspired by the song spade on the cd. if u listen to it, it might make sense. i posted this as a deviation cuz i dont know that ill ever finish it, lol. done in corel painter 9 er, yea, i suck royally at digital art. i should practice a bit more, cuz i would like to get good at it eventually. itll help a lot when i get a tablet, but until then, my mouse will have to do. any thoughts?
very good drawing, and u show great talent with the computer.
it seems to me that every artist sees the flaws in their work more than that of others. this can be a double-sided blade. it can cause an artist to better their talents, or the artist will become obsessed and the flaws end up being all the artist can see.

i don't see enough critiques on deviant art.
critiques help artists to know what they may need to improve on
praise is good, but it doesn't help like critiques do

Ooh, very nice. Working digitally with only a mouse is a royal pain in the arse, it's practically impossible to get perfection that way. So some flaws are bound to show up. But this looks good and I like the vision you brought out of your head. I can definitely see that image when listening to the song. (The only song on the album that's worth anything, anyway... but that's a totally different rant.)
I'd like to see the full, completed version of this piece when you get a tablet and do it as you really want it.
For the fact that you suck at digital art... and that you used a mouse, eventhough you suck... i must say your AMAZING! Now, i wish i could do that. I like the imagry... it is very very ironic. Thats what i like about it.
Keep it up!
Take care

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

I like it, I think it's all kinds of interesting and in the 'grotesque' fashion.
