i stayed home from school to work on this picture yesterday. it gave me the worst migraine, but i finished it today in art class. im so glad its overwith!
just a few notes:
i altered this picture a lot, so expect a LOT of differences. i just had to play around with that insane hair of his!!!!(yes, its a HE) i also extended it a bit so the hair was more prominant in the picture. unfortuneately, i have no clue where i found the original photo. but, as soon as i find it, ill post a link here! so, in short, excuse my insane alterations, and hopefully you'll enjoy this drawing anyway, cuz, although i hated it so much while working on it, i really do like his hair. everytime i say i hate the hair, i dont mean how it turned out, lol, just the horrible, horrible process of drawing it! but after this drawing, im not letting myself complain anymore!

the model for this picture is a japanese rocker named Hisashi Tenomora (with crazy cool hair!), from an awesome band called Glay. everyone's been asking, so now you know:D

Awesome work! I'm glad the final copy came out so well. Would you recommend trying pencils for a project like this? Or would you recommend charcoal? I'm thinkin about doing a realism piece like this for art.

wicked. absolutely outstanding. after doing a lot of realism myself, it's safe to say that i admire work like this hundreds of times more than i did before! XD :+favlove:
